God's Call to Family Ministry
We believe that God has called Truthway Apostolic Church to Brazos County, Texas to be His continued ministry here. Jesus began His ministry on this earth for three and one half years and after His ascension commissioned His disciples to continue that same ministry. Today, nearly two thousand years later the mission continues through His Body the Church of the living God on this earth.
We believe that the vision God has given us for this task is to establish an age integrated assembly of believers for His grand purpose of seeking and saving that which was lost. We believe that God has called Truthway Apostolic Church to unite the faith and the family together in the Great Commission.
As we look into the Book of Acts, God does something new. He creates, establishes, and ordains a new institution, the local church. God’s creation of the local church did not eliminate His purpose for the family. Rather, in the New Testament, He lays out specific ways in which the family and the local church are to relate to one another and accomplish different aspects of His plan to build His Church.
The local church is built on the health and spiritual life of families. The local church has the extraordinary and vital responsibility to equip the family and keep it accountable to its purpose and function according to God’s Word.
